The Harvest
Got my buck, Greg got his buck, Bri got his buck. Had a wonderful time with family and friends. Thanks mom, dad, and fam for everything! Dad, glad you didn't fully cut your pinky finger off......it'd be hard for you to lift your pinky when you drink a glass of water if you didn't have a pinky to lift.......
Greg shot the 3x2 next to mine in this pic

B Miz shot a nice 3-point.....but I don't have a pic. Me and B dropped ours in their tracks....Greg hit his good so there was no suffering with any of our deer if any of you were concerned.
We have a TON of pics from the kids playing.....get after Kati and tell her to start blogging!!!! Kati is due with our second baby March 11th, but we'll be able to schedule the c-section March 4th. Don't know what we're having yet. We'll keep you posted!

BEEF
DON'T COME IN TO MY BRANCH AND TELL ME THAT I OVERDREW IT!!!!! I don't have the capacity to write a check for you at the liquour store when you don't have any funds in your account. I also don't have the pleasure of eating out at 5 different fast food restaraunts per day like you do......somehow, when you spend more money than you have you overdraw YOUR OWN account, I'm not the culprit so please refrain from using phrases such as: "You overdrew my account" or "You bounced my check to my mortgage company and now I have all of these problems because of you!" :-) I only return your item when you have no money. I know, I know.....it's hard to understand. You had $20 in your account and you spent $1,387.57.....go figure! You were close. Only $1,367.57 off!
Anyway, that's about all I have to say about that...............
Martina Colada!
We were graced by the opportunity to join the Moutsos Family and tromp on out to the Martina McBride concert last week. We had a blast. Good food. Good peeps. Good music. Dang good bod for like 60 years old........and good pics (well, after a few tries!!!!).
She took one look, smacked me and it was off to Round #2.......I moved quickly after we set for the pose (sometimes I feel I'm fast as Edward.......haha)
That one didn't work either. Now she was beginning to foam at the mouth and get a little angry. I thought I had one more goofy chance to screw things up, so I went for it!
That was enough.....she was done trying. So, I did what any good husband would do...I apologized as best I could without saying that I didn't think it was funny and we went for Round #4. Now was the time to be serious. I feared the wrath that could come from my dearly PREGNANT wife (oh, did we forget to tell some of you she is prego shmego???). I thought the next pic looked great, until I saw our backdrop and my glazed eyes!
EMout got the brunt of that one so I was still in good shape! Round #5 came out okay though :-) Love you babe
Thanks Eeeeeeeeeeeee for the good time!

We miss you Luke!
There are moments in our lives when tragedy strikes, whether expected or unexpected, that demand courage from deep within us to overcome. We lost an amazing friend and cousin. Luke was an amazing person with so much to offer this world. Words fall short of expressing my love and admiration of him. I will always remember the times on the river growing up, the endless games of HORSE, getting spanked by you in derby on the diamond, and the late night Denny's runs with the clan.I am grateful for my testimony of prayer during good times and bad. God is always there to lift our burdens and make them light. Even when we don't see a possibility to be comforted, He will comfort us. Although comfort wanes at the moment, one day we will meet again.
I miss you Luke
March 19, 1981-July 26, 2008
On July 26, 2008, Lucas James Aitken was ushered from this mortal estate into the bosom of loved ones and eternal friends. He was born on March 19, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah to M. Glen and Patricia Aitken.
We will miss his infectious smile, charismatic presence and his ability to stir and provoke. He was happiest when he was "hanging" with friends and family, fly fishing on a clear mountain stream, or participating in just about any sport or competition. As a member of the LDS faith, he was active in Scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Woods Cross High School and was pursuing a career in plumbing. He was loved and will be sorely missed by all.
Lucas is survived by his parents, M. Glen and Patricia Aitken, and his siblings, Justin, Chelsea, and Jace Aitken. Lucas leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reed and Elizabeth Aitken, grandfather, Keith S. Howard, and uncle, Keith S. Howard, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates and on Thursday, July 31, 2008, one hour prior to the service.

The Epidemic some refer to as TWILIGHT
- How many guys do you know who have honestly read Twilight?
- How many of those guys did NOT like the book?
- Take those who said they did NOT like the book and re-ask them, whether or not they truthfully liked the book.
- How many of those guys continued to read the rest of the Twilight series?
- What was so fascinating for them to want to or not want to keep reading?
I didn't even have to play the game of asking myself whether or not I was masculine because I not only enjoyed the book, but I DEVOURED it. Come on guys, you really aren't going to read the book because there is a "love story" in it??????? I can guarantee that any guy who has read the book will admit there is more action and mystery to keep even the biggest thrill seekers turning pages.
I was initially reluctant to read the book, telling Kati that I would read it before the movie came out in December.......here I am midway through book number two! And, for any of you who wish to contest my decision to read this series because I am male, please first ask yourself how you can honestly tell me the book sucks without even opening it!!!!!!!! Once you have read it, we will gladly hold a reasonable conversation. For everyone else reading this post, feel free to have your husbands, friends, brothers, etc. call me and tell me I'm girly. I am happy to be a girl and admit that Edward is awesome.
lol
p.s. the only thing, that bothered me, in the book, was Stephenie's, use of commas, they, drove, me, insane,,,,,,,,,
